Seaside Dental, a comprehensive dental practice, has been serving the San Diego area for over 40 years, offering general and esthetic dentistry in La Jolla, a suburb of San Diego. Linda Bright is the office manager and has been with the practice for 24 years. She works with two full time general dentists, one part-time periodontist, three hygienists and an array of assistants. Seaside Dental’s IT landscape includes 13 PCs, a 3D Digital X-Ray, 2 secure servers along with dental management software and a back-office imaging suite. In addition, the practice is HIPAA compliant, with a secure firewall. Seaside Dental has been a Logically customer for over 15 years.

IT Challenge

As a premiere dental practice, Seaside Dental’s virtualized platform assures integration of all back-office and patient-facing services. Central to the success of the practice is ensuring that the office has the most up-to-date technology and is always online. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit and the office was temporarily closed, Linda was able to access everything she needed from her home office.
