About the Presenters

Patrice Andrews
Chief of Police, Morrisville Police Department

Prior to being appointed as the Chief of Police, Andrews was the Commander of the Criminal Investigations Division with the Durham Police Department. During her 23-year law enforcement career, Andrews has held positions in Uniform Patrol, Criminal Investigation Division, Special Operations Division, Warrant Squad, Office of the Chief of Police, and the High Enforcement Abatement Team.

Andrews graduated cum laude with a BS in Criminal Justice from North Carolina Central University. In addition, she is a graduate of the 263rd session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia as well as a graduate of the West Point Leadership Academy. In June 2018, Andrews was re-appointed to the Governor’s Crime Commission and is member of the Special Committee on School Violence as well as Chair of the Crime Victim Services committee.

Andrews is a member of NOBLE (National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives), FBI National Academy Associates, National Association of Women Law Enforcement Executives, National Alliance for Law Enforcement Support, International Association of Chiefs of Police, North Carolina Association of Chiefs of Police, North Carolina Law Enforcement Women’s Association, and the North Carolina Police Executives Association.

Tyler works with the Security, Audit and Compliance team performing security risk and other compliance-related assessments for clients. Tyler also executes the internal audit function for the company to ensure continued compliance with AICPA requirements to maintain their SOC 2 Type 2 certification for Cloud Services. He has an undergraduate degree in Accounting with a concentration in Internal Audit from NC State University. Tyler successfully obtained the ISACA Certified Information Systems Auditor designation in January of 2020 while also holding the ISACA CSX Cybersecurity Fundamentals certification which he earned in 2016. He continues to develop a set of core competencies in IT governance, information systems security assessment, and systems validation.

Ed Burke

Ed has over 15 years of experience in the field of Information Technology. Throughout the course of his career, he’s developed a well-rounded skillset working in Security, Managed Services, network administration, and infrastructure development. He holds a B.S. in Information Technology – Security and a Masters in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance. Ed is also Logically’s resident CISSP, Certified Network Forensic Investigator, and Certified Ethical Hacker.

Jeremy Kurth co-founded K&R Network Solutions in 2002 where he also served as the Chief Technical Officer. In 2018, K&R Network Solutions and Winxnet merged to form a coast-to-coast managed IT services company. In 2019, both companies rebranded as Logically to form one unified entity.

As Chief Technical Officer for Logically Jeremy is responsible for the technical vision and direction of the organization. With a passion for systemization and efficiencies Jeremy originated and built the OpLogic platform to provide best-in-class automated managed services. OpLogic, the industry's first and only Intelligent MSP Platform, greatly enhances the accuracy, uptime, and overall performance of Logically’s client service offerings.

Jeremy attended Colorado School of Mines on an athletic scholarship before transferring to the University of California San Diego where he went on to complete his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.

Greg has 18 years’ experience as an IT Director for organizations in compliant environments including healthcare, medical device, and pharmaceuticals. He has an undergraduate degree in Computer Information Systems from Indiana University and an MBA from UNC-Wilmington. Greg is an ISACA Certified Information Systems Auditor, passing his exam in the 90th percentile. Greg’s initiative led to the creation of our Security Audit and Compliance team, which now focuses on framework-based assessments (NIST, HIPAA, ISO), Internal Audit as a Service (IAaaS), Penetration Testing and Virtual CISO offerings.

Mick McGuigan

Mick is responsible for providing operational oversight of Logically’s largest mission-critical team, ensuring financial targets are met, service delivery issues are addressed & resolved, and customer satisfaction is high. Mick joined the Logically team in 2006 and has served in multiple leadership roles across the company including Operations and VP of Service. Mick earned his B.A. in Communications from Cal State Northridge. A Los Angeles native, Mick began his career in the entertainment industry. His experience in Hollywood taught him the importance of relationship building and customer service while learning how to collaborate with high profile accounts to improve process and profitability.

Caleb designs solutions that meet client needs, expectations, and business requirements for the Security, Audit, and Compliance department at Logically. When he first joined the team in 2017, he completed risk assessments before eventually moving over to manage the deployment and monitoring of Logically’s SIEM SOC solution. From this experience, Caleb has gained the requisite niche experience to provide the solutions services to the Security, Audit, and Compliance team. Prior to working at Logically, he worked as a Help Desk technician and manager at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated with a degree in Computer Science and completed the CSX Cybersecurity Fundamentals certification issued by ISACA.

Liz manages both the Professional Services and the Managed Services teams at Logically. Liz joined the team in 2014 as a Marketing Analyst, after spending seven years working in various capacities at the Portland Sea Dogs, the Double A-Affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.

In the Marketing department, Liz was able to work closely with the sales, technical and consulting teams to create compelling campaigns and programs. Because of this work, Liz was in tune to consultant and technician successes and challenges that led to the expansion of her role to include more operational responsibilities. Today, she is responsible for the teams that work closest with the Logically clients, and oversees key aspects of Customer Service, Account Management, Sales and Service.

Aaron Scurlock

Aaron has over 15 years’ experience in IT management where he implemented policies, procedures, and security risk and compliance.  As part of his security background, Aaron was responsible for hardening the IT environment, creating security policies and procedures, managing application security, and conducting security awareness training with his team. He also experience managing financial audits with third-party firms. Aaron works with the Security, Audit and Compliance team performing compliance and risk related assessments, disaster recovery plans, business continuity plans, and incident response.

Tom is responsible for ensuring the Logically Professional Service teams deliver sound, smart and efficient projects and recurring services to our client base. Tom is a veteran of the Managed Services industry with 18 years of combined technical service, sales, and project management experience. He has had success building sustainable, profitable Professional and Managed Services teams focused on customer care and scalability. Prior to joining Logically, Tom managed operations for IQ Technology Solutions, while also assisting in sales and key account management.
