About the Presenters

Tyler works with the Security, Audit and Compliance team performing security risk and other compliance-related assessments for clients. Tyler also executes the internal audit function for the company to ensure continued compliance with AICPA requirements to maintain their SOC 2 Type 2 certification for Cloud Services. He has an undergraduate degree in Accounting with a concentration in Internal Audit from NC State University. Tyler successfully obtained the ISACA Certified Information Systems Auditor designation in January of 2020 while also holding the ISACA CSX Cybersecurity Fundamentals certification which he earned in 2016. He continues to develop a set of core competencies in IT governance, information systems security assessment, and systems validation.

Jennifer is responsible for leading transformational initiatives across the organization to enable Cree’s digital transformation, process automation, and SG&A investment optimization. Jennifer’s passion for Organizational Change Management and Transformation led her to her current role from a rewarding career in IT where she was responsible for establishing multiple IT Security & Compliance functions, leading Global Support Services functions and spearheading Data Privacy & Protection programs in high tech, manufacturing and contract research organizations. Early in her career Jennifer held numerous roles in Financial Planning & Analysis and Accounting. She holds several certifications including MBA, CISA, and CISM.

Greg has 18 years’ experience as an IT Director for organizations in compliant environments including healthcare, medical device, and pharmaceuticals. He has an undergraduate degree in Computer Information Systems from Indiana University and an MBA from UNC-Wilmington. Greg is an ISACA Certified Information Systems Auditor, passing his exam in the 90th percentile. Greg’s initiative led to the creation of our Security Audit and Compliance team, which now focuses on framework-based assessments (NIST, HIPAA, ISO), Internal Audit as a Service (IAaaS), Penetration Testing and Virtual CISO offerings.

Caleb designs solutions that meet client needs, expectations, and business requirements for the Security, Audit, and Compliance department at Logically. When he first joined the team in 2017, he completed risk assessments before eventually moving over to manage the deployment and monitoring of Logically’s SIEM SOC solution. From this experience, Caleb has gained the requisite niche experience to provide the solutions services to the Security, Audit, and Compliance team. Prior to working at Logically, he worked as a Help Desk technician and manager at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated with a degree in Computer Science and completed the CSX Cybersecurity Fundamentals certification issued by ISACA.

Aaron Scurlock

Aaron has over 15 years’ experience in IT management where he implemented policies, procedures, and security risk and compliance.  As part of his security background, Aaron was responsible for hardening the IT environment, creating security policies and procedures, managing application security, and conducting security awareness training with his team. He also experience managing financial audits with third-party firms. Aaron works with the Security, Audit and Compliance team performing compliance and risk related assessments, disaster recovery plans, business continuity plans, and incident response.

He is been working in the Information Technology/Security field for over 15 years. Chad has obtained many professional certifications to include CCNA, CCDA, CCNA-Security, CCNP, AlientVault Certified Security Engineer (ACSE).  Chad was recently a speaker at HPE Discover 2019 and RSA2020 for Hewlett-Packard Enterprises discussing notable Ransomware attacks.
