Product Manager

California Office: San Diego

The Logically Product Manager (PM) is responsible for the entire Product Lifecycle, including creating, planning, launching, managing and deprecating services. The PM will need to be knowledgeable and immersed in product and service offerings available in the Information Technology market. This individual reports to the CTO and will work collaboratively with sales, service, marketing, developers, leadership and operations teams to ensure all goals are met.

The PM will need a deep understanding of the client experience(s) and available service delivery methods in order to identify and fulfill product gaps in Logically’s offerings. An important function of the PM is to generate and construct new ideas and services in order to drive growth within the market while improving client experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, communicate and manage the product strategy and roadmap (Product Lifecycle)
  • Assess market competition and position the product line to appeal to existing and new clients
  • Recommend scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraise new product ideas and/or product changes
  • Create Market Requirements Document (MRD) and Product Requirements Document (PRD) with prioritized features and corresponding justification
    • Will include creation and maintenance of process flow diagram (PDF) for product integrations within OpLogic and supporting technologies
    • Assist and collaborate with developers, engineers, and vendors for integration and automation opportunities
  • Provide information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts, attrition, and growth scenarios
  • Collaborate on product pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals by utilizing market research data, reviewing production and sales costs, scalability and volume
  • Work with internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, operations) to bring product to market (sales collateral, training, etc.)
  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks
  • Create, maintain, and communicate product training and information across all of Logically
  • Continuously improve on knowledge transfer to the Logically team in order to support inquiries (client facing and internal) regarding product offerings
  • Maintain SKU database, product and entitlement descriptions and documentation (website, in house, Teams, etc)      


  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager
  • MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred
  • Strong comprehension of IT services and surrounding technologies such as computer systems, network design, operating system management and cyber security services
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product through its lifecycle
  • Ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive leadership
  • Efficient and effective data management, manipulation and reporting, ie. leveraging pivot tables, identifying exceptions and techniques with updating large data sets, etc.
  • Excellent and clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail is a must
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams through independent thought and proactive behavior

Software and Tools Experience:

  • HubSpot, Connectwise, Dynamics CE, Dynamics BC, Kaseya a plus (CRM/RMM/ERP/PSA)
  • Visio or equivalent
  • T-SQL, PowerBi, SSRS knowledge is strongly preferred
  • Extremely strong comprehension and use of Excel is a minimum requirement
