Michael co-founded Winxnet in 1999 and serves as President providing leadership and accountability across the organization. He was instrumental in the vision to create a nationwide platform MSP which culminated in the merger of Winxnet and K&R Network Solutions. In 2019, both companies rebranded as Logically. Working with a team of customer service focused professionals who share his values of integrity, hard work, and execution remains the driving force behind his efforts to this day.
Michael graduated Summa Cum Laude from Providence College with a B.A. in Psychology. Prior to his career in IT, Michael worked in the Neuropsychiatry lab at the University of Rochester conducting brainwave research. His interest in the information technology field grew through his IT-dependent research. He soon realized computers were much easier to fix than people and made the jump to IT.
He began his career in IT at Computer Sciences Corporation where he was elected chairman of the Active Directory and Exchange focus groups for a project involving General Dynamics, Avondale Industries, and Raytheon. As one of the first certified Microsoft engineers in the State of Maine, Michael led the migration from Novell to Microsoft at Bath Iron Works. Currently, he serves on the Board of Advisors for Intel.
Michael has been an avid sports fan since the days Fran Tarkenton scrambled on the gridiron, and Bucky Dent borrowed a bat in ’78 (although this is kept quiet in Red Sox nation). Outside of work you are likely to find him with his high school sweet heart turned wife and 3 children sea kayaking off the coast of Maine, rooting for the Vikings, or experiencing the country in their travel trailer.
Michael lives in Harpswell, Maine with his wife Lori and their three children: Juliet, Caleb, and Reilly.
